Wouldn't it be nice to feel a little bit like a native when you are spending your holidays elsewhere?
Bed and Breakfast is the answer.
There are many forms of Bed and Breakfast accomodations, like staying on a farm or even at a small hotel or inn where you can talk with the owner sometimes.
In the age of globalization, our expectations have changed. We want to go some place and we want to really be there, too. This is why Bed and Breakfast has become so popular.
In my home country Germany, staying at a farm or spending your holidays in a Bed and Breakfast inn has been a good tradtion.
As a child, I loved to spend my holidays with my aunt. She had a nice house where she accomodated guests who spent their holidays there. That was not unusual since she lived in a spa where many people rented out rooms to holiday makers. Today, there is more diversity. You can find good accomodation almost anywhere in the world. Even in the industrial region where I live, there are people who rent out their rooms to holiday makers and who thoroughly enjoy being a good host. They cherish the company of people from elsewhere.
As a child, I preferred being with my aunt, her guests and our relatives who also spent their holidays there to staying in a holiday flat. Later, I have often sought ways of spending my holidays at a small inn or on a farm. You really learn a lot about your holiday resort that way.
This is why I am planning to take my Bed and Breakfast experience to the next level - as a Bed and Breakfast host. I hope to see you at my own Bed and Breakfast which I will start very soon.
